Questions
How much does a mini AE86 go-kart cost?
We haven't set our price yet, and the interest list hears it first. Elsewhere, karts like this sell for about $7,000 to $9,000, and the motor makes most of the difference. Ordering one direct from China usually leaves out ocean freight, customs duty and tariffs. Our price will cover those. Delivery to your door is a separate fee, posted before orders open.
Is it electric?
Yes. It runs on a 72-volt lithium battery and a 2,500-watt motor, or 3,000 watts and up if you order the High output motor.
How fast does it go?
About 50 mph with the standard motor and 75 mph with High output. Those are the factory's estimates.
How far does it go on a charge?
About 19 miles. A second quick-release battery adds about 12 more, for roughly 31.
Will it fit in my garage?
Almost certainly. It's 8 ft 6 in long and 3 ft 7 in wide. A typical one-car garage bay runs about 12 by 20 feet, so the kart takes up a small corner of it.
Can adults drive it?
Yes. It's rated for 660 lb.
How soon can I get one?
A standard Hatch arrives the day after you order in Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio. Anywhere else in the lower 48, it goes by freight truck on a day we set with you. Custom paint and other options are built to order, which takes the factory about 30 days before shipping. How delivery works.
Is it street legal?
No. In Texas a go-kart can't be registered, so it stays on private property. Why go-karts aren't street legal in Texas.
How do I spot a fake store?
Look at the price first. Stores selling this kart for a few hundred dollars, or about $2,000 shipped, aren't selling a real one. Fake stores also tend to reuse photos from other sites, put a countdown timer next to a crossed-out "original" price, and leave the About page with no address, phone number or names. Before you pay anyone, ask for a live video of the kart, and pay by card so you can dispute the charge.
Texas Zoom House isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Toyota. "AE86" is used here only to describe the style of kart. Price ranges are rough and may change.
